Azmeh was introduced to the Muslim Peace Fellowship and its members through the Stony Point Center Young Adult Summer Institute, where her love for interfaith learning expanded . She was raised as a Muslim since birth and has spent many years learning about the history of Islam through school and other avenues. Since moving to the United States eight years ago, she has been increasingly interested in the role and the strength of inter-faith learning and collaboration. Azmeh also has a degree in Counseling and spends her days working with students. She feels strongly about the role of education and the importance of emotional and social support that children are getting and is always open to opportunities to help improve their situation.
