Peace Picnic on the International Day of Non-Violence

In honor of the International Day of Non-Violence, October 2nd, Muslim Peace Fellowship (MPF) hosted a Peace Picnic at the Community of Living Traditions, Stony Point Center. Inspired by American Muslim Voice, a coalition partner in Red Hijab Against Violence and Coercion, the picnic aimed to bring our Muslim and non-Muslim neighbors together, build friendship and peace in our communities. During the three-hour event, we all spent a fun time getting to know each other and enjoying delicious food prepared by MPF team. Muslim Peace Fellowship team is very grateful to everyone who came and joined us on this important occasion and is willing to continue this tradition by hosting similar events in the future. Below are some of the pictures from the day.
