Volunteer for Crisis Line

Volunteer

24/7 Crisis Line is a project of Sound Vision, a non-profit organization with the mission to produce content that helps build bridges of understanding among Muslims and their neighbors, with emphasis on youth.  The Crisis Line is designed in response to the pressure faced by Muslim youth from many different directions: Issues of family conflict; confusion over faith, identity, or sexuality; and discrimination and bullying. The main aim of this project is to save lives in times of stress, anxiety, or depression.

Sound Vision has been working on the Crisis Line project for the last six months and is going to launch it within weeks. Although several trained volunteers are already in place, they still need more volunteers to operate a 24/7 crisis. If you are interested in being part of this important project, you can apply to be one of the volunteers needed.

Note that, in order to be a volunteer you must be at least 18 years old. Qualified professionals will be training the volunteers in methods of saving lives.
